6-day tour of luxury boutique small group exclusive Southwest Grand Ring water, land and air panoramic view + Yellowstone Park in-depth
Day 1Las Vegas——Emerald Lake Kayaking——Grand Canyon National Park
In the morning, we can choose to go to Emerald Cove , a natural landscape on the border of Colorado at our own expense. It is a paradise for kayaking enthusiasts. You can not only enjoy the clear lake water that looks like green jelly, but also experience the fun of kayaking to explore the canyon, and enjoy the mountain scenery, water scenery and endless green water plants. Then we will continue to drive to the Grand Canyon National Park in the United States. Passing the famous Hoover Dam , Highway 66 , we will arrive at the Grand Canyon National Park at noon. Here, every passerby is a master of photography, and every photo is a landscape painting. You can choose to take a helicopter at your own expense to overlook the beauty of the Grand Canyon from the air. After the play time is over, drive to the hotel for accommodation.
- Grand Canyon National Park
Known as the first of the seven natural wonders of the world, it is located in northern Arizona, USA, covers an area of 1,904 square miles, and was established in 1919. The Grand Canyon was approved as a natural heritage and included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1979. The Grand Canyon National Park is one of the seven wonders of the world. It was formed by the Colorado River cutting through the plateau and is one of the most worth-seeing national parks in the United States.
- South Canyon - Main attractions: Mather Point

Day 2Antelope Canyon——Horseshoe Bend——Lake Powell——Bryce Canyon National Park——Salt Lake City

We set off in the morning with a fresh mind and headed to the world's first slot cave, which is rated as one of the world's top ten photography sites. Follow the Navajo guide into the Antelope Canyon , where you will be in a colorful world, walk in the unique cave formed by hundreds of millions of years of river erosion, watch the irregular color changes caused by the refraction of natural sunlight on the rocks in the valley, and appreciate the magical corridor of the Antelope Canyon. Then we drove to Horseshoe Bend to appreciate the wonders of nature. Then we came to Bryce Canyon National Park , and finally we came to Salt Lake City with a day of joy and checked into the Salt Lake City Hotel.
- Antelope Canyon water tour
Stunning natural rock formations and lighting conditions make Antelope Canyon one of the most popular iconic destinations for photographers. We offer the option of taking a yacht, kayak, jet ski and using open bows and limiting our passenger capacity for convenience and comfort, allowing you to maximize your panoramic views of Antelope Canyon. The 2-hour photo tour allows you to capture the scenic walls of Antelope Canyon, Bower Lake, Glen Canyon Dam and Wahweap Bay. Your photos and shots are sure to stand out on your social media platforms.
- Antelope Canyon
Antelope Canyon is located in the north of Arizona, USA. It is formed by soft sandstone after millions of years of various erosion forces. Flash floods often flow into the canyon during the monsoon season. Due to the sudden increase in rainfall, the flow rate of the flash flood is quite fast. In addition, the narrow channel narrows the river channel, so the vertical erosion force is relatively large, forming the corridor at the bottom of the Antelope Canyon and the hard and smooth edges on the valley wall that look like flowing water. Although Antelope Canyon is a slot canyon, when people go deep into the valley, they will find that it is like a wonderful art palace. The valley wall looks soft, but it is actually very hard. The rock surface seems to be carefully polished, and the layers flow along the rock wall. When the sun shines into the quiet canyon, the dance of light and shadow releases its charm here.
- Horseshoe Bend
National Geographic Magazine selected this as one of the seven best photography spots in the United States. The dense aquatic plants on the Colorado River bed make the river water appear fluorescent green in the sun. The river turns 360 degrees in the reddish-brown canyon here, cutting out a horseshoe-shaped canyon, hence the name Horseshoe Bend. Standing on the edge of the cliff, you will be intoxicated by the breathtaking beauty of the blue water, blue sky and red rocks.
- Lake Powell
Straddling the border of Arizona and Utah, Lake Powell is one of the most popular inland water recreation hotspots in the U.S. This is not only because of its vast area of nearly 658 square kilometers, but also because of the rugged and beautiful geological wonders surrounding its shores.
- Bryce Canyon National Park
It is the smallest national park in the United States. Millions of orange and fiery red rock pillars of different heights form a vast and magnificent landscape. The strangely shaped, neatly arranged and separated stone pillars form a huge "open-air theater", somewhat like the "Roman Colosseum".
Kind tips:
- Tripods and monopods are not permitted in Antelope Canyon.
- Recommended to bring: camera, mineral water, comfortable sports shoes, sunscreen, sun hat
Tour time: Antelope Canyon is about 70 minutes
Lake Powell 0.5 hours
Horseshoe Bay 1 hour
Bryce National Park 1-2 hours
Optional activities: Water Antelope Canyon Tour (optional kayaking, motorboat, yacht)
Aerial view of Horseshoe Bend, Lake Powell, Glen Dam, and Indian Monument (optional helicopter or small plane)
Hotel: Small town characteristic hotel
Day 3Salt Lake City——Idaho Falls——Yellowstone National Park
In the morning, we depart from Salt Lake City and drive to Idaho Falls . The City of Idaho Falls is the largest city in Idaho. It is the gateway to Yellowstone Park and Grand Teton National Park. It is also the largest artificial waterfall. The Snake River runs through the city. Immersed in the tranquil city atmosphere, we then head to the desirable Yellowstone National Park.
- Yellowstone National Park
It is the world's first national park, located in the Rocky Mountains, known as the "backbone of America", on the lava plateau between the northern Rockies and the central Los Angeles Mountains in the western United States. It was established on March 1, 1872 and is famous for its rich wildlife and geothermal resources. The park is named after the source of the Yellowstone River, and there are hundreds of recorded animals. Native Americans have lived in the Yellowstone Park area for at least 11,000 years. Geothermal wonders are its symbol. The natural landscape in the park is divided into five major areas, namely the Mammoth Area, the Roosevelt Area, the Canyon Area, the Geyser Area and the Lake Area, each with its own characteristics.
- The Grand Prismatic Hot Spring 40 minutes
Also known as the Grand Prismatic Hot Spring , it is located at the coordinates 44.524569, -110.837975 in Yellowstone National Park, USA. It is about 100 meters in diameter and is the largest hot spring in the United States and the third largest in the world. It is about 75 to 91 meters wide and 49 meters deep. The water temperature is as high as 85℃, and about 2,000 liters of 71-degree spring water gush out every minute. It was first discovered by explorers in 1839. The amazing thing about the Grand Prismatic Hot Spring is that the color of the lake changes with the seasons. In spring, the lake changes from emerald green to golden orange-red. In midsummer, the chlorophyll decreases, so the lake water appears brilliant orange, red or yellow. But in the cold winter, the lack of light makes the water appear deep dark green.
- Old Faithful Geyser 90 minutes
Old Faithful is a geyser located in Yellowstone National Park in the United States . It is named for its consistent and regular eruption. It was named during the Washburn-Langford-Doane Expedition in 1870 and is the first geyser named in Yellowstone National Park. The current eruption pattern is about once every 90 minutes, and each eruption lasts for 4-5 minutes. The water column is more than 40 meters high, which is spectacular and never stops. The geyser and the Old Faithful Inn next to it are listed as the Old Faithful Historic Area.
- Yellowstone Park Palette (Fountain Paint Pot) 30 minutes
The Palette is a mud fountain. The mud and rocks contain minerals, which are melted by the acidic hot spring to form mud. Because the muddy water is very viscous, you can clearly see the slow formation and disappearance of bubbles. The mud around the fountain looks like dried oil paint, making the fountain itself look like a pot of water washed with oil paint, just like a painter's canvas, overflowing with colorful seasonings.
Things to do: Idaho Falls
Yellowstone National Park
Optional
- Yellowstone Lake Cruise
Climb aboard the Lake Queen II for a one-hour guided tour of the largest freshwater lake in the United States at over 7,000 feet. The boat departs from Bridge Bay Marina and cruises on Yellowstone Lake with up to seven different times to choose from. Along the way you'll learn about the lake's historic district, the remains of the SS EC Waters you'll see, and other amazing information the area has to offer. You'll spot eagles, shorebirds, and the occasional elk and bison along the shoreline.
- Yellowstone Lake Fishing
Yellowstone Lake is home to beautiful native cutthroat trout and non-native lake trout. Experienced captains will provide gear and take you to the most likely fishing locations. This is the best way to get into the backcountry of Yellowstone in a short period of time if you just want to sightsee. Guided boat charters are available all day and require a minimum of 2-hour trips. Anyone on board who is 16 years of age or older and wishes to fish will need to purchase a Yellowstone Park specific fishing license.
Hotel: Small town hotel (can be upgraded to Yellowstone cabin)
Tips: The tour guide will arrange the attractions in Yellowstone Park according to the actual situation of the day. Please refer to the tour guide's arrangements on the day of joining the tour.
Day 4Norris Geyser Basin - Volcanic Pillar Cliff - Mammoth Hot Springs - Roosevelt Arch - Lama Valley - Lower Falls Rim
Today, the tour guide will take you to visit the scenic spots on the Yellowstone National Park. We will drive north from Madison Junction. After passing Gibbon Falls and Beryl Hot Springs, we will come to the Norris Geyser Basin, the oldest in Yellowstone. The diverse geothermal landscapes in Norris will bring you a multi-sensory experience of sound, color, and smell. There are many trails for you to choose from, and you will also see the world's largest geyser. At noon, after passing the volcanic column cliffs and Howling Mountain, we will arrive at Mammoth Hot Springs, another important attraction in Yellowstone Park. At Mammoth Hot Springs, you can enjoy the travertine steps on the boardwalk, or go to the visitor center to learn more about the history and culture of Yellowstone. After a short stay at the Roosevelt Arch at the north gate of Yellowstone, the tour guide will take you to visit the Roosevelt area of Yellowstone, which is the area that President Roosevelt loved the most. In the Laman Valley, you can see groups of wild animals, and at the Roosevelt Ranch, you can also experience various western-style experiences such as carriages and horseback riding. At sunset, we will return to the waterfall area. Interested tourists can walk along the rugged mountain road to the edge of the Yellowstone Falls to see the magnificence of the waterfall.
- Norris Geyser Basin (Norris) 60 minutes
The name Norris comes from Philetus Norris, the second director of Yellowstone Park, who was the first to summarize many details of Yellowstone geothermal. It is the hottest and most unstable series of geysers in Yellowstone Park. The world's largest geyser, the Steamboat Geyser, is also located in this area. It has been dormant for a long time and erupts only once (the last eruption was in 2008). It has set a record of 380 feet in eruption height. Due to its instability, new geysers are produced every year, and old geysers die. The "Sea Urchin Geyser" is a famous fountain in Yellowstone. Its characteristic is that it is an acidic hot spring, while most of the hot springs in Yellowstone are alkaline. Its pH value is 3, and it is said to be as acidic as lemon juice. Other famous hot springs in this area include Pearl Geyser, Porcelain Basin, Ledge Geyser, Colloidal Pool, etc. There are also some orange or green rivers formed by fungi here, which are also very beautiful.
This basin is the hottest, oldest, and most active geothermal area in the Yellowstone area. The geothermal phenomena in the basin vary from day to day, affected by earthquakes and groundwater levels. The highest temperature recorded by borehole measurements in the entire Yellowstone area was 237 degrees Celsius at 326 meters underground in Norris. There is almost no geothermal activity below the boiling point in the Norris area (the boiling point at the altitude of Yellowstone is 93 degrees Celsius).
- Sheepeater Cliff 30 minutes
It is composed of columnar basalts that were deposited by lava flows about 500,000 years ago. The Gardner River flows through the valley, exposing the water and forming the cliffs. The basalts at Sheepeater Cliff are called columnar basalts because hexagonal fracture lines form when the basalt cools.
- Mammoth Hot Springs 60 minutes
Located in the northwest of Yellowstone National Park, it is the headquarters of the Park Administration and the favorite area for elk during courtship. Mammoth Hot Springs is famous for its limestone terrain, which is very different from other geothermal phenomena in the park. The snow-white and dark yellow steps formed by the hot springs are like terraces. When the hot springs gush out from the limestone layer, the hot water dissolves the calcium carbonate in the limestone into the water. When the water flowing out of the surface cools, the calcium carbonate in the water is oversaturated and condenses and settles into a lime platform. When the underground water outlet is blocked by deposits, the spring water flows to other outlets and forms another platform. The spring water deposited in the platform is affected by the activity of algae microorganisms, forming yellow, white, brown and other colors, and the layers are stacked to form "travertine steps". It is like a mammoth covered with long hair in ancient times. Mammoth Hot Springs is the largest carbonate deposit hot spring in the world. The spring water comes from the Norris Geyser Basin, and the water temperature can reach 77℃. Many algae live in the hot springs, making the colors of the hot springs appear brown, orange, red and green. The endless hot springs rush down along the terraces, and the colors are different, forming a colorful large staircase, which is very magnificent. After a crustal movement in 2002, most of the hot springs stopped their activities, resulting in the death of a large number of microorganisms, causing the Mammoth Hot Spring to lose its color, and the dead bacteria also turned into gray-white powder, which remained on the dried large steps.
- Roosevelt Arch 20 minutes
The 26th President of the United States, Roosevelt, laid the foundation stone for the arch in 1903. It is located at the north gate of Yellowstone Park and is one of the main symbols of the park. The north gate is also the only gate with a gate in Yellowstone Park. After the completion of the arch, Roosevelt quoted 10 words from the Act of Congress and engraved them on the arch: "For the benefit and pleasure of the general public."
- Lamar Valley 30 minutes
Lama Valley is the best area for watching animals. It is located at the northeast end of Yellowstone Park. The hillside is gentle and covered with green grass. The residents of the valley include yaks, brown bears, antelopes, black bears, North American elk and other wild animals. It was a farm in the early 20th century, but now it has become a spot for watching gray wolves in the mornings of spring, early summer and winter.
The look and feel of the junction of Tower Roosevelt and Lamar Valley in the middle of Yellowstone Park is described by visitors as "sexy in the front, heroic in the back". I believe that every visitor will have his or her own unique impressions when they are there.
- Lower Yellowstone Falls 30 minutes
The Lower Falls Trail is a must-see trail for viewing the Yellowstone Falls. Walking down the rugged mountain road, you will reach the edge of the Yellowstone Falls. Here you can witness the spectacular sight of the Yellowstone Falls up close.
Optional:
Horseback riding in the Canyonlands of Yellowstone Park (1 hour)
This ride passes through open meadows near the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone (not visible from the trail). The ride follows Cascade Creek through a wooded area and then returns to the corral through a series of meadows and pine forests.
NOTE: To ride a horse, you must be 8 years of age or older, 48 inches tall, and weigh no more than 240 pounds. Children ages 8-17 must be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older. Anyone under 18 must wear a helmet.
Things to do: Yellowstone National Park
Hotel: Small town hotel (can be upgraded to Yellowstone cabin)
Day 5 Yellowstone National Park——Grand Teton National Park——Salt Lake City
On the second day, we will continue to visit Yellowstone Park and experience the beauty of the Yellowstone ecosystem. We will admire the Upper Yellowstone Falls, which is 400 meters upstream of the larger Yellowstone Falls. We will then visit the West Thumb Geyser Basin , Artist Point, and Grand Teton Park on the edge of Yellowstone Lake, and then go to Elk Antler Arches Park . After the visit, we will return to the Salt Lake City hotel to rest.
- Upper Yellowstone Falls 30 minutes
The Upper Falls is located 400 meters upstream of the larger Yellowstone Falls. The waterfall falls vertically along the volcanic cliff with a drop of 33 meters. The originally uneven volcanic rocks below the waterfall have been eroded by the waterfall for hundreds of years and have become very smooth.
- West Thumb Geyser Basin 60 minutes
The West Thumb Geyser Basin, located on the edge of Yellowstone Lake, was formed 150,000 years ago by the collapse of the earth's crust. The combination of hot springs and lake water has created a wonderful misty landscape: the misty area is the steam of hot springs, and the green waves are the water of Yellowstone Lake, which complements the blue sky and white clouds in the background, forming a landscape different from other hot spring areas in Yellowstone. This area is equivalent to the bay of Yellowstone Lake, where many geysers gather. The colors of the water vents vary, some are transparent green, and some are dark black like cement. Many water vents present a beautiful fantasy.
- Artist Point 30 minutes
The scenery here is particularly spectacular. The canyon is more than 300 feet deep. The canyon walls are mainly yellow, mixed with black, red and pink, and clusters of green pine trees. These colors are mixed but not chaotic, looking like a peacock's tail, and also like the pointillism of a romantic painter who applied several layers of color in the same place.
- Elk Antler Arches Park 30 minutes
The park is not big, but there are giant arches made of deer antlers in the four directions of east, west, south and north. Deer antlers are all hard goods, and it would be a pity if they were not used as antler supplements. These deer antlers are not obtained by hunting, but by a large number of elk coming from the mountains to the "National Elk Refuge" in Jackson to spend the winter. In the spring, the antlers fall off naturally and are replaced. After the elk leave, countless treasures are left all over the place.
- Grand Teton National Park 90 minutes
Established on February 26, 1929, it is named after the highest peak of the Teton Range. The park has a nearly pristine ecosystem, with some prehistoric plants and animals still surviving today, and the oldest stone confirmed to be from 2.7 billion years ago. The Chinese lakes, rivers and snow-capped mountains in the park, led by Jackson Lake and Jenny Lake, together form a peaceful world south of Yellowstone. In addition, Grand Teton National Park also has a very rich variety of creatures, including American bison, grizzly bears, black bears, moose, and more.

Day 6 Salt Lake City - Utah State Capitol - Valley of Fire - Las Vegas
After breakfast, we returned to Las Vegas. We first went to the Utah State Capitol . The palace-like government building is one of the few places in the United States that can be visited without security checks. Then we drove to the Valley of Fire State Park to appreciate the ingenious work of nature's painters. Finally, we drove back to Las Vegas and checked into the hotel.
- Utah State Capitol
The Utah State Capitol is located in Salt Lake City. The size and shape of the entire building are comparable to the Capitol Hill in Washington. In addition, since Utah is also known as the "Beehive State", a beehive sculpture is prominently placed in front of the building, which is also one of the attractions that tourists who come here must take photos.
- Valley of Fire State Park
Valley of Fire State Park is the oldest and largest state park in Nevada. The entire expanse of red rock has formed various shapes due to weathering. From a distance, it looks like a sea of fire, which is also the origin of the name Valley of Fire.
Tour duration: Utah State Capitol 0.5 hour
Valley of Fire State Park 1 to 1.5 hours
ENDThe trip ends . We will take you to the pick-up point in Las Vegas.
